Jaxtr - the dirty details

Saturday, October 27, 2007

With all the "free calls" sites and services out there it can be very confusing. A lot of people are looking for free calls to India. Most services don't include places with higher costs such as India, in their "free calls" supported countries. Jaxtr is (or at least was) an exception. Except now people are starting to report problems:
** You cannot call to the same number second time.
** US Local number what they provide never function.
** Sudden disconnect the calls while talking.
** only US people have 100 Minutes, all other country they allow only 3 - 16 minutes per month as rollover.

By this, do you mean the widget call only allows you to make the initial phone call? If that is what you meant, then, it is by design. This is to encourage our users to use the local #.

What number was that? Can you send me the information? I can look into that. As far as we know, our US # is working, and we have constant monitoring of our network services

** Sudden disconnect the calls while talking.

This can be due to the fact that the recipient party is running out of jax.

This is due to the telecom costs in India. In order to get more free minutes, one way is to invite more of your friends to join. When they join and register their phone, more jax will be awarded to the invitor.
